The 7th Baltic Sea Parliamentary Conference in Lübeck, Germany, September 7-8 1998 decided to support EU enlargement. Due to this there is necessity to promote political, economical and cultural links with all Baltic Sea States in governmental and non-governmental levels. The conference called on the governments to support democratic reforms in Central and Eastern European countries and assist them in parliamentary decision making process.
