Port of Trelleborg will elaborate how Bio-LNG logistics can be organised from abiogas plant to ships at the berths.2. Port of Klaipeda will elaborate how local small scale LNG logistics to ships canbe derived from a large LNG import terminal.3. AIDA cruises will develop the idea to supply ships during stay in port withnatural gas from the local gas grid.4. Port of Rostock will undertake a study of how cruisers can get LNG in ports5. The development of an Environmental Port Index Lead by the Ports ofStockholm, Helsinki and Turku.6. Shoreside electricity for large size ferries is set to be developed by the Port ofOslo in cooperation with Color Line and Port of Trelleborg .www.portoftrelleborg.seChallenges• A joint clean shipping strategy requires intensive interrelation between allstakeholders• The project contains both local and regional Governments, ports,universities, NGOs, shipping companies, and concerns environmentaland health communities• Communication and dissemination of objectives and results are ofparamount importance for this project• The final goal is a Baltic Sea free from water and air pollutionwww.portoftrelleborg.seMilestonesMilestone 1 (11th June 2010 until March 2011) and outputs:• There have been two meetings in each of the work groups. It was the strongwill of the partners to start with the pilots as soon as possible. Therefore work onthe pilots were started by mid milestone one. Decisions on the location and dateof these meetings were taken during the kick-off meetings in Trelleborg andStockholm 2010. The workgroups and pilots have now produced the first halfyear reports.Milestone 2 (April 2011 until September 2011) and outputs:• Up to two meetings of the work groups. During these meetings generaldevelopments will be discussed as well as the outcomes of the pilots. In therespective ports hosting the pilots local task groups from port, ship owners,authorities will be established, which discuss the necessary elaborations andguide the development. At the end of this milestone the second concise halfyearly reports will be produced.www.portoftrelleborg.seMilestonesMilestone 3 (October 2011 until March 2012) and outputs:• Up to two meetings of the work groups. Pilots should be ready by about 40%.Production of the third half year report and upload to the website.Milestone 4 (April 2012 until September 2012) and outputs:• Up to two meetings of the four work groups. Pilots should be ready by 75%. 4thhalf year report on findings, results and recommendations.Milestone 5 (October 2012 until March 2013) and outputs:• In this milestone all pilots will be ready by 100% or at least close by.
