The 16^th Baltic Sea Parliamentary Conference Berlin Germany 27-28 August 2007

At the 16^th BSPC in Berlin 27-28 August 2007, Ms. Sinikka Bohlin was unanimously appointed Chairman of the BSPC Standing Committee for the period until the close of the 17^th BSPC. Sinikka Bohlin has been a member of the Swedish Parliament since 1988 and held numerous positions in various Committees. She has long-standing commitment and expertise in fields such as environment, foreign affairs and industry and trade. She is also Chairman of the Swedish delegation to the Nordic Council and member of the Nordic Council presidium. The 17^th BSPC will be convened in Visby on 1-2 September 2008.
